About the competition;

“The journal has since Villmarksliv 1976 organized nature photo contest "Photo Hunt". This year was the idea conceived and in January the number 1977 presented Day Kjelsaas entire program as an alternative to traditional hunting. Over the years the competition has gone through many changes, but has always been a prerequisite retained. Thus Foto hunt in 2012 in its 36. konkurranseår - a feat no other competition of this kind can boast. Photo taken from secret Smøla daytime 19. February 2012. Jury: The sternest eagle jury can remember seen in a very long time - with a super sharp look, partially open beak and feathers in wild disarray. When the photographer so mastered the technical with good sharpness and depth of field as well as a hands-on and nice composition, is the noblest rank for this portrait. Canon EOS 5D mk2, EF400mm f/2.8 L IS II USM 2x converter, 1/250 sek, f/6,3, ISO 500.

It is taken from a mountain at about Fosnavåg 1400 7. February 2012. Sea Eagle circles along the ridge and out to the bay for food. Jury: Question is whether the frog is a very uncertain future in the face of such opposition. Well done by the photographer to capture this situation in a technically good picture with good composition. Canon EOS 7D, EF400mm/2.8L IS II USM 2x converter, 1/800 sek, f/5,6, ISO 3200.
