Grey Heron or fiskeheire (Ardea cinerea) is a large feather attached bird species belonging to the group herons. It has a long neck, long wings and legs, and long dagger shaped beaks. In Norway also simply referred to as herons or Hejre.

The beak, legs and eye iris is yellowish. The male and female are similar.
