Thanks for the information! I'll check some more about it. I can go there on Friday, I hope, so it gets easier with buses. It is reported rain, but I hope I get to see some birds :)
It's exciting with so fine types of bird, but it is a pity that I only have a canon 55-250mm.. not the best quality, men det skal nok holde.
Should also think about the night there, det kan være aktuelt om jeg kan komme tilbake på lørdag med buss/båt.

it to reach the Round without a car is not the easiest thing in the world. There goes as far as bus, but not on the weekend http://reise2.fjord1.no/Fjord1IISStaticTables/Tables/ruter/t/15-165.htm
The easiest way is probably by car. Overnatting på Goksøyr Camping kan anbefales.
Of the birds you can see in the middle of the day at the Round Mountain can be Ørn, Skua, Peregrine Falcon, In addition to puffins (most of 1800 and beyond). Otherwise I recommend to contact Ålesund Sunnmøre Trekking on phone 70 12 58 04 or info@aast.no

Round can also offer accommodation in the Round Guy (self), diverse charter boat, Environment Centre, med Rundeskatten med mer.

Very nice post, great tips, video and pictures :)
I'm going to AES this weekend and considering going to round to take some photos of birds. I have no car, and therefore I have to take a boat / bus to get to there. I can not find usable information about this, maybe you know more about vehicles there?
What other kinds of birds are there in Round? Is it possible to photograph them at midday? I can not be there until sunset since I have to get back to Ålesund.. or would you recommend to stay there?
