New product – Photo Tiles

After a while with testing new framing consepts, I can now provide Photo Tiles.

This is an exciting and flexible way to frame photos where the motive is split into several rectangles, separately framed in a nice standout/boxframe, therafter to be mounted into a larger picture montage.

The example below consist of four tiles, each with a size off 40 x 60 cm, and total size will be 80 x 120 cm.

The Photo Tiles are mounted together by 5 mm thick backing pieces of same finish as the frame, and mounts to the wall by 5 mm thick hidden and lockable brackets. The frame builds 40 mm from the wall. The backing pieces are pre drilled, and marked to each tile, so the whole montage is assembled in few minutes by using the supplies screws.

Here are some of the adventages with Photo Tiles;

  • New and modern impression
  • Makes logistics and transport easier
  • Makes it possible with larger picture montages

The illustration below shows 9 tiles. If each tile is messured 40 x 60 cm the size of the montage will be 120 x 180 cm, and if each tile measures 60 x 90 cm the size of the montage will be 180 x 270 cm. The size of the montage is limited by the viewing distance and the resolution on the motive/picture to be used.
